WOW - thanks to everyone who participated -
I just wanted to send everyone another update - to let you know that we indeed DID help to set a new world record! 20,000 in 30 countries - actual count will be released by Thrill The World Int'l on Monday.

THANK you to everyone who made a donation to the Artsboretum - you will help continue our work to support our music and arts community !
We will do this next year - and we will also have an awesome AFTERPARTY - at a very cool location - more info to follow, but be patient - it's a year away.

ALSO - Ines Markelle, the choreographer who started this whole thing has an opportunity to be on Oprah next week on a Michael Jackson tribute show - and there is a possibility that video of our dancers will be featured, but we are having a bit of a problem b/c our "official" video has an exposure problem.

Meet us - 6:30 - in the EXERCISE ROOM located in City Hall - 420 Litho Street, Sausalito at the corner of Bee and Caledonia Sts. (Downstairs from the Library) we'll go to about 8:30 - it's helpful if you review the online videos first!

If you can't make one of our classes - check out Ines Markelle's videos on the Thrill the World International site - they really work - I'm not a dancer, and this is very challenging, but I'm getting a GREAT workout and am having a blast!

OAKLAND - Saturday: 10:00 am in Oakland near Lake Merritt - NOTE: Lakeside Park is between Fairyland and Lake Merritt. The best way to find the dancers is to look for Ahn's Burgers at 439 Grand Avenue - in the park across the street (Bellevue) from Ahn's on the same side of Grand, under the trees. Look for the silver Toyota Yaris with the "Thrill Oakland" signs in the windows. Dancers will be nearby! UNDER THE TREES

October 24th is our official dance time to participate in Thrill the World - this will be a World Record attempt and we expect to be listed on the official Thrill the World website soon.
This is the 3rd year for Thrill the World, but as you may expect, there's extreme interest in this event this year.
Also, this event will be a FUNdraiser for the Artsboretum! Please subscribe to our blog for updates and info on how to partcipate!
